I am considering buying the X2 and a power increase would be very much welcomed. As I understand it the X2 is supposed to be a pretty reliable performer in stock form. My question is will the upgrade detract from the reliability?

Is it possible to convert the X2 to fuel injection?

I am worried about taking a carbureted bike into the high elevations here in China.

The Shineray 170MM engine is more then capable of handling a 25cc increase to engine capacity without effecting the drive line or cooling system performance. Fuel injection is not an option for this engine, if altitude is a concern my suggestion would be to go for the MV30 CV carburetor option which meters air and fuel more efficiently at varied altitudes.
