We have not riding shinerays atv but we have theres X2 bike and on that we have same problem.
And that problem is the start buttom,check if you have contact there if it not are the fuse.

Team Defenda Racing Sweden i think is the best chinees brand team in the world today.?
All on Shineray X2 bikes before the big race 25-26 september "Ränneslättsloppet" 5 laps of 22km enduro.
best plc was 5e in class 6.

Did you buy the camshaft and carb as off the shelf parts or did you have to get them custom made?

We custom made all parts from orginal parts.
But we have send cam shafts to Shineray for test.
One more thing on your bike are the old exhaust mounted (in pics) that we have are the new one, that is more straight so you get more rpm. With that you have you get more tourqe from buttom and less rpm on top.

There has been little change since my first post. Since we modify everything here in Sweden so it has become more of production costs. So a 280cc forged piston kit costs about 470euro and one set of cam shafts around 300euro, then the postage will be at these prices.
BUT it is a big but! I can not say how much more power it becomes with the 280cc, the most noticeable is the cam shafts allows you to wind the engine more and where to get more power on top. So I can recommend is replace cam shafts and above all sharpen up the hole in the carburetor. It should be ground so it looks the same on the bottom edge up to the edge of the inlet hole, this makes about 30% larger intake.
We have also run with one Mikuni vm34 with good results, but you have to change manifolds to mount around or original from honda nx 250 Dominator.

10-hour relay race with three drivers and three bikes. but we Defend Racing Team drove with three drivers and two bikes. The competition consists of ten hours to run as many laps as possible in the quickest time and with changing the drivers after each lap. We came up with a 7th place of 71 team and then it was five pro teams before us, we are very pleased with this effort. And to note is that we ran on brand new bikes taken out of its box the day before so they were completely original. GO FAST GO SHINERAY / Defenda.

3rd place in a Enduro race with a standard X2.

The tires on X2 is realy great.
But we have problem with the silencer it break and fall off on motocross track.
Now we have make some changes like other brands.

Here in Ecuador th XY 250GY or XY250SRM as we called it, does not have  good rear suspention, the monoshock got broke inside and the bike falls down, we have to replace it in 50 bikes, any ssugestions.

It look`s like you dont have the Fastace suspension on this bike,am i right?
We have Fastace suspension on our bikes and we have no problem at all,every one how have this bike like the suspension wery much.
And i even race with my bike every weekend and practice two times in week with it so if you dont have fastace on the bikes so upgrade it  then you have no problem.

Hi all! 8)
Now I have tried my 280cc kit for X2an, it was all a little trouble getting everything in place when it was first well we did. We first attempt went piston against the cylinder head where they are 4mm larger than the combustion chamber in the cylinder head, so it was to grind a bit at the top. Now we know that we will turner of about 1.5 mm at top edge of the piston for failing to take in.
How did you feel when the bike with this installed? :P
Fitted with camshafts we have before, and with the 280cc, it was a clear improvement in performence. the price for this yet as long as is approximately = 350euro Cam shafts and cylinder include forged piston around 350euro. We are now waiting to grind up the gates of the cylinder head and expect probably by the same amount on the job to. 'll Try to see if I can get the bike into a brake bench to get exactly the torque on the rear wheel. But everything will be ready for spring I promise. 8)
